The Role

This Senior Financial Accountant role will provide critical support across project accounting, payroll, compliance, and management reporting, while also leading a small finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Project and cost accounting, including job costing, analysing manufacturing and production costs, and inventory reporting
• Ownership of payroll oversight across approximately 100 employees, spanning multiple awards and entities.
• BAS, GST and tax compliance, including timely lodgement and audit readiness.
• Acting as the finance lead to project teams and operational stakeholders, providing commercially focused insights.
• Supporting and maintaining accounting systems and processes.
• Improving reporting frameworks between manufacturing/warehouse operations and construction entities
• Ensuring strong governance and internal controls across a multi‑entity structure (operating, holding and asset‑holding entities)

Your Profile

• CA/CPA or Equivalent (desirable)
• Proven people management experience.
• Experience overseeing payroll in multi‑award, multi‑entity environments.
• Confidence partnering with operational stakeholders.
• Practical understanding of GST, BAS and tax compliance requirements.
