Description
£30 - 40k: Salary is very much dependent on experience and we offer wide ranging opportunities for progression and provide support to obtain professional qualifications, if desired.Purpose of the Role
Join a growing Client Money Audit Team at the heart of Everywhen, in particular supporting our Broker Network members. If you're passionate about accuracy, regulation and building strong relationships, this role offers the chance to make a real impact across a diverse broker network.
What's the role?
You'll play a key part in delivering the full audit cycle for our members, ensuring compliance with FCA CASS 5 rules and helping firms strengthen their financial controls. Working from home, you'll travel regularly to client sites (typically around three visits per month) and occasionally to our Leeds office.
What you'll be doing
- Carrying out CASS 5 client money audits and reviewing members' financial systems
- Ensuring accurate back-office data and supporting month-end reporting
- Coordinating external audits and reviewing evidence with key stakeholders
- Overseeing quarterly control reviews and supporting improvements
- Acting as a payments authoriser and completing IT access audits
- Building strong relationships with members, especially around high‑risk audits and regulatory change
- Supporting regulatory calculations, month-end processes and wider team initiatives
What we're looking for
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, part-qualified or QBE
- Financial experience within an insurance or insurance broking environment would be an advantage
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and advanced Excel skills
- Experience in CASS 5, client money operations or financial control within a regulated environment would be preferred but is not essential
- A detail‑driven, analytical mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence
- Someone proactive, organised and self‑motivated, comfortable working remotely and travelling regularly
- A strong communicator who enjoys problem‑solving and continuous improvement
Why this role?
If you're a quick learner with a passion for precision and a desire to help firms strengthen their regulatory position, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise and play a key role in a supportive, expanding team.
