A day in the life.
As a Claims Consultant, you'll be responsible for managing client claims, providing expert guidance on claims processes, and ensuring timely resolution of issues. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• Proficient in conducting thorough investigations of outstanding client requests and commitments, regularly reporting outcomes and next steps while interpreting and analyzing various documents, policies, and procedures to resolve complex claims issues.
• Skilled in educating clients and internal teams on best practices in claims management and perform related duties as needed
• Experienced in utilizing insurance expertise and communication skills to explain coverage terms and program options to clients and their employee plan members while collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely and cohesive service execution
• Efficient and accurate in client service by consistently following workflows, engaging internal resources, maintaining complete client files with detailed documentation, and achieving data completeness and process integrity through timely and quality execution
• Engagement in ongoing meetings with the service team to discuss accounts, renewals, and service needs while training and mentoring Claims team members, effectively communicating to establish positive client relationships, and developing strong working relationships with Producers, Account Executives, and other internal stakeholder

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• 2+ years of experience in claims handling or medical claims pay experience at an agency/insurance carrier
• BS/BA in Business, Insurance or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

The applicable base salary range for this role is $54,700 to $101,900.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
